Welcome to the Moondance Festival for 2012! As you may or may not know, the Moondance Festival is the official release time of the Wushi breed. The Wushi is only available as a Transformation (or through breeding). What that means is you cannot create a Custom Wushi in the Orb Cavern like other breeds. Wushi require a special item called a Wushi Cabbage which is used from your inventory to Transform an already existing Puma. The existing Puma can be any gender, age, breed, or generation! These Cabbages are ONLY on sale for 2 days a year, so grab them while you can. This is a shorter festival, but there's still a ton of fun packed into it! Here's some of what you can look forward to: Gifting Stump - As always, a themed Gifting Stump is available to send gifts to friends and fellow members. :) Profile Clicks - One of our favorite festival pastimes! During this festival you can light off firecrackers and see what kinds of prizes you get. :) There's a lot of good stuff in there! Wushi Cabbage - These will be on sale in the TE Items Shop on April 2nd and April 3rd ONLY! The price is 20 TE for each Cabbage. We'll make another news announcement once they are available for purchase. :) Shop Items - There are TONS of shop items available! Some of them are Moondance-only, but a few will also be sticking around permanently after the event ends. :) Go take a look and see if you can find them all! Phew, I think I mentioned everything! | Just a quick reminder that today is the last day of our Premium Trial Weekend! Take a look HERE for the full details. Also-- the Moondance Festival begins on April 1st! (No this is not a joke, I promise :)) As you know, Moondance brings with it the Wushi Cabbage. So if you've had a hankering to turn one of your Pumas into a Wushi, your chance to buy a Cabbage will be coming up soon! The Wushi Cabbage costs 20 TE and can be used to transform one of your Pumas into a Wushi! This is not like our Custom creation orbs-- the Wushi Cabbage is used on an already existing Puma. :) EDIT BY JT: Just a quick edit to let you know that the Pharaoh Costume Set from Danse Macabre 2010 has had a tiny "shine and refine" update. :) ORIGINAL -> UPDATE All Pumas that are wearing pieces of this set have had their images reset. :) The easiest way to check your Pumas with these costumes is to go to your Inventory, and then visit the "View Equipped Items List" page. | Hello! And welcome to the second installment of "Monday Music Madness!" This week we have three music suggestions for you to try, so let's get started! We start off this week with a favorite of mine which was also suggested by Sasha #11. Band Name: Walk off the Earth. Walk off the Earth is a Canadian indie band formed in 2006 in Burlington, Ontario. This song is a cover version of "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye (Which is also worth a listen) Enjoy! Somebody That I Used to Know There is a wicked parody of this song out as well which is honestly funny. Worth digging up on you tube. Next, another favorite of mine suggested by Mitenmon #71 Band Name:Thirty Seconds To Mars 30 Seconds to Mars is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1998. Give a listen to "This Is War" This Is War Last, A pick of my own by a band I really like. Band Name: Pendulum Pendulum is an Australian-British drum and bass/ Electronic rock band founded in 2002 in Perth. My Favorite song by this band " Hold Your Color" Hold Your Color As I stated last week, We want YOUR songs! PLEASE though, don't send more than 2 suggestions at a time. And if you already sent, don't resend. I'm only picking two a week so i'll get to the suggestions I like in due time. It's going to take a bit because if the HUGE response! | Spring has arrived, and so our background image has changed. :) Be sure to refresh if you don't see a difference as your browser may have cached the original! Also, spring brings with it melted snow and the ability to venture into nature again now that everything is warming up. | Monday Music Madness! Hello all. I'm going to try a new feature here which as you see is called "Monday Music Madness" I will be posting 3 music links every Monday of songs I like and telling a bit about them. Feel free to comment on the songs or groups. I will also accept suggestions for music to post as well but you MUST follow the protocol. If you wish to suggest music, you must PRIVATE message me directly with the link and the subject line "Suggestion for Music". If I like the music, and your song is included in the Music Madness posting you will also be given a Prize available nowhere else on the site! Yay for crazy prizes given to lucky people! Also, People who post comments about the songs might also be eligible for a prize if the comment is thoughtful, insightful or has a bit of interesting information about the songs posted to share. ( It's ok so say you don't like the music, just let me know why ) DO NOT POST links to other music those comments will be removed. This band is called "Poets of the Fall" and it's one of my favorite bands. They hail from Finland and started up in 2003. Here is my favorite Song: Roses Next up, "Thriving Ivory". This is an American Band out of Santa Barbra Ca. They started up around 2002. I like the lead singers voice, slightly odd.. but enjoyable nonetheless. My Favorite song from this band: Angels On The Moon This band "Florence and the Machine" are an English indie pop band. Start up appx 2007. The band is a lot of fun and I think enjoyable to listen to: Blinding Hope you enjoy this first group and get those suggestions in to me! |

| Pocket Puma Pets came about in 2006 as a thought. I wanted to make a neopets similar game in which the pets could multiply. It was only a thought until about 2007 when I was lucky enough to meet JT and she agreed there was "something" to the idea. She, and an artist friend at the time joined me in this undertaking. By about May of 2008 we had firmed up the ideas and started getting the plans for Pocket Puma together. We plotted our concepts, brought on some staff and set the whole thing in motion. By 7/14/2008 we were ready to beta test. Interesting info. Beta testing was limited to appx 50 people. Most were friends and aquaintences of ours. The Site ID numbers under 160 are more than likely all beta testers. Those who beta tested for us were gifted 2 customs made in any way they decided to make them. These are the original pumas. On September 12th 2009 after about a year of beta testing, poking, prodding and harassing the poor moderators, we opened P3 to the limited public. P3 has gone through changes, we shifted Artists, we developed a larger and broader scope of ideas and we gained many new members. But, this is JUST the beginning. Soon.. many new changes will be coming once again, we are excited by them and we hope you will be as well. In the mean time, I'll leave you with a bit of P3 trivia. The VERY first puma on this site is "Beloved" and he was named for this song: Beloved Hope you enjoy it! |
