PLEASE though, don't send more than 2 suggestions at a time. If you find NEW stuff to suggest, feel free to send, just don't keep sending the same song over and over :) If you wish to suggest music, you must PRIVATE message me directly with the link and the subject line "Suggestion for Music". It would help me a GREAT deal if you would also include the name of the band and the song with your video clip. I am running into removed videos and I have no way to search w/o information included. Also, If you discover I did NOT use your particular clip It's usually because it isn't available, isn't playing properly or has a long commercial in front of it. I will try to search out a good version when this happens. Theme for next week is "The Voice" What does that mean? Which singer sends chills through your body? Brings you to tears, haunts you even when you aren't listening? THAT voice, that sound... Who is it for you? I was SOOOOO close to sending the Creedence songs, but I knew other people would pick them. Both sch awesomely epic pieces. :) Singing in the Rain was one of my grandma's favorite movies. She loved Gene Kelley and she used to sing that song all of the time, so very nostalgic for me. I LOL'd for Pocketful of Sunshine. I giggle every time I hear it because I loved Emma Stone in Easy A. |

Every choice this time around was awesome...however the one that jumped at me was Drens selection... Love Reign O'er Me first... it's The Who... need I say more? Also adore the play on words. I wouldn't have thought to send this in for weather theme songs. Great job Dren and congrats to all the winners. |

Some of those songs remind me how old I am hahaha. Others I actually don't know. Who'll Stop The Rain is a great song; but Creedence Clearwater Revival is a great band. |

Thanks, rose! ^^; It was the first song I thought of after seeing the theme. That, and Guns n' Roses' "November Rain". <3 You just can't have a weather theme without "It's Raining Men". You just can't! I didn't choose it for my submission because I figured that someone would XD I'm glad that I was correct! =D Two CCR songs?! YAY! I really like what I've heard so far of CCR, and I keep meaning to check out more of their stuff, so this gives me the perfect opportunity! <3 Not really a fan of AC/DC to be honest, but I used to have a friend I roleplayed with back in the day [oh wow I sound so old now XD] and her user name was StormyMayDay. I knew she was an AC/DC fan, but I never made the connection, due to never knowing about the song, so I probably should have guessed it was a song title. XD Thanks for that little memory! It was just what I needed for today! =D "Let it Snow" is probably one of the only Frank Sinatra songs I know and like, and I'm also happy to see that it's made the list! I'm not a Sinatra fan to be honest [I just never cared for his stuff ^^;] but I can't help but smile every time I hear it! =D It sets the perfect atmosphere for any winter themed movie and is great for winter holiday parties! <3 Congrats to all of the winners and the past thoughtful posters!! ^^ <3 I look forward to seeing who everyone chooses for "The Voice"!! |

Wow I love the songs this round. I'm surprised to not see Novemeber Rain up there but I like that there are more classics on the list <3 I agree the list would have been incomplete without Its Raining Men ;) Congrats to my fellow thoughtful posters and winners! <3 Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked the suggestion. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up for each of the winning categories. |

oh my gosh, I can't believe I didn't think of suggesting 'It's Raining Men', I've always loved that song, even more so now that I've seen the movie 'Magic Mike'!! XD *drools* Let It Snow was my first thought when I saw the theme, but I really like Martina McBride's version the best, probably because I can sing along to it easier than Sinatra's version. 'I Love a Rainy Night' is another goody I didn't think of right away. It takes me back to my childhood, my parents got me hooked on it at an early age! |

I noticed a lot of the choices this week were about rain.... Which we so badly needed here. We got some booming thunder storms this week! oh Alex! CCR! Wow that really takes me back in time I have quite a few CCR albums and I should pull out the record player and listen to them again! |

When you think about it - its amazing how many songs can fit into a theme. There are so many songs about rain, sunshine, snow, wind, storms etc. Most songs seem to be about feelings- especially love and love really is like the weather - it affects our mood, it's always changing and it very often influences what you wear :p Love REIGN over me? lol thats a cheeky one! |
