| EDIT: WUSHI CABBAGES ARE NOW IN THE TE ITEMS SHOP! WOO :D The moment you've been waiting for! Paradigms are officially live on P3. :) This is not an April Fool's joke, I swear! I have been hard at work trying to get this to you guys before Wushi Cabbages went on sale since I know everyone is excited. To give you a brief overview: Paradigms can be used in place of colors on Puma Markings and Evolutions. Instead of choosing the color green, for example, you could decide to choose a Rainbow Paradigm and your Marking will show up as Rainbow! It opens up TONS of possibilities for fun Custom Pumas, breeding, dressing your Pumas, etc! The info below gets into more details, so I do recommend reading it if you are curious about Paradigms. :) Paradigms are available for use in the following: • Custom Creation in the Orb Cavern - Paradigms can be chosen in place of hex colors on Markings and Evolutions. • Breeding! (more info on this below) • Transformation - If your Puma has a Paradigm before being Transformed, it will still have that Paradigm when they become their new breed. Also, with Wushi Transformation, you can choose a Paradigm for your Mane color. • Play with Paradigms in the Puma Demo (the removal bug has been fixed!) • Splatter Tool - Add a marking as Paradigm, change a current marking to Paradigm BREEDING WITH PARADIGMS - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW You are probably wondering how breeding works. Paradigms add another layer of complexity to breeding, but one you will find to be exciting. :) You won't have to do anything differently-- you will still breed Pumas in the same way as before, and still request the same way. All Pumas can still breed with each other, there is no limitations to Paradigms. If you have a Puma with a Paradigm, you can breed it to any other Puma with or without Paradigms. Normally, every Marking on a Puma is a solid color, with some strength (it could be 100%, or maybe only 30% and quite light). Paradigms add another aspect to this-- if you breed a Puma with a Paradigm, you can end up with special Paradigm Mixes! :D The possibilities are: 1). Full Paradigm (a solid Paradigm, like our current solid colors) 2). Paradigm/Paradigm (2 different Paradigms mixed) 3). Paradigm/Color (one Paradigm and one color mixed) 4). Full Color (this is the same as all Pumas right now-- just a hex color) What are the chances of getting a mix, though? Well, when you breed with Paradigms, you have the option of getting Mom's, Dad's, or a mix of Mom and Dad in one Marking/Evolution. :) This leaves room for TONS of possibility-- some combos have up to *6* different outcomes! ::wipes brow:: phew! Paradigm Mixes are VERY special, and can only be created through Breeding. If you are using the Splatter Tool, you CANNOT create a Paradigm Mix. If you use the Splatter Tool on a Paradigm Mix, you will lose the mix. Splatter always adds a 100% solid Marking, no mixing allowed! I really hope this helps explain a bit! If you're curious about Paradigms, go to the Puma Demo and play with them. :) All currently active Paradigms are available for custom creation. Please ask any questions you might have! | Happy Moondance Festival everyone! :D The Moondance Festival is a small festival celebrating our Wushi breed. :) As you may or may not know, the Wushi is *only* available through Transformation or breeding. What this means is that you cannot create a Custom Wushi in the Orb Cavern like the other breeds. Wushi require a special item called a Wushi Cabbage which can be used from your Inventory to Transform an already existing Puma! :) Wushi Cabbage will be on sale in the TE Items Shop on April 2nd and April 3rd ONLY! The price is 20 TE for a Cabbage. And once again, Wushi are Transformation ONLY-- you will have to use the Cabbage on a Puma that already exists. In addition to munching on cabbages, all Pumas and their human companions can have a fun time during the festival with our Gifting Stump, Firecrackers Profile Clickie game, Random Events, and some awesome new Moondance-themed items in our shops. :D Earlier, as the start of the Moondance Festival, we added in the new resized Wushi artwork. The Wushi is now slightly smaller than before-- which means it can wear hats and other fun things that were cut off before! Wooo! :D (Please refer to the news below this for more details) There will be at least one more surprise before Wushi Cabbages go on sale, so watch the news for more info. ;D |

| Remember that Wushi poll we had a while ago where we asked about resizing? Well, I am currently uploading the new Wushi files. :) If you are playing with a Wushi in the Puma Demo, or refreshing your Pumas-- please be patient! There are a lot of files to swap out. :) I'll post here again when we are done! (Also, some wearable items will need to be re-done according to the new art, especially ones that had been chopped off due to the large Wushi size. So we ask for your patience while we finish up the new art. :) ) EDIT: Everything is now uploaded! :) I am aware that there are a handful of markings and 2 evolutions that are not correct. I'm working on those now. :) I am going to start a topic in the Bug area for users to report Items that are incorrect on the Wushi, so we can have them all in one spot: CLICK HERE Edited: 03-31-2011 09:54 pm |

| Hey everyone! There is a Gifting Stump today, but it is not an official event one. Looks like I have a minor bug, and it is picking up the dates from last year's Moondance Festival. ;) So, as a blast from the past, feel free to send out gifts today if you choose. ;) HAPPY FRIDAY! I'll be fixing this when I get home this evening. And no worries, it's a normal gifting stump, there are no bugs with giving or receiving. :) It's just picking up the wrong date! |
