| We have just consolidated the forums to make them more user friendly. In some cases, there was fragmentation that was confusing or unnecessary, so we wanted to remedy the situation and hopefully also encourage more discussion at the same time. :) Here are the changes: 1. "Newbie Help" and "Help!" have been combined into one category (called Help!). Our newbies are quickly welcomed into the family here on P3, so why have a separate help area for them? :) All questions are welcome and treated equally! 2. "General Chat", "Good News", and "Entertainment & Media" have been combined into one category (called General Chat). Good News and Entertainment & Media were two lesser used categories, so it made perfect sense to combine them into our General Chat where their topics would receive more attention. Anything you might have posted in either category is perfectly appropriate for General Chat! Wish happy birthdays, talk about your latest accomplishment in underwater basket weaving, your favorite book, your pets, the latest TV shows, etc. Oh, talking about P3 is welcome as well! :) This is where you will continue to find event topics and others. 3. "Item Sales", "Shop Sales", and "General Sales" have been combined into one category (called The Marketplace). These three original sales categories were pretty much all the same thing and had a lot of crossover. It made sense to combine them into one Marketplace. This new category is for any item sales, shops sales/ads, and any other miscellaneous sales. 4. "Art Sales" and "Art Wanted" have been combined into one category (called The Gallery). The same for these two art categories-- combining them makes sense due to the related nature of art sales and art wanted ads. Enjoy! |

| New Markings & Paradigms + IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT | |

| February 15th means we have some new Markings and Paradigms for you all. Thanks to Quad and Yam for these! You'll notice that the Paradigms have a particular theme to fit our festival... MARKINGS • Butterflies [ SAMPLE ] • Snowshoe [ SAMPLE ] PARADIGMS • Chocomint • Lavendermint • Lemonmint • Sushimint These are all now available for Demos, Custom Creation, and Utilities. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MARKING/EVOLUTION/PARADIGM RELEASES We are going to change how Markings, Evolutions, and Paradigms are released. :) • Markings & Evolutions will be released 4 times a year, on the 15th of the month. The release months are: February, May, August, November. • Paradigms will continue to be released on the 15th of every month (12 times a year). Our current release schedule has meant that some of our awesome Markings AND Evolutions haven't gotten the exposure they deserve! This change should allow new Markings/Evolutions to gain some "market share" before new ones are released again. :) How many and what types are released will vary, depending upon the time of the year, site events, as well as your suggestions! |

| Just a few quick reminders for anyone who might have missed recent news posts and wants a TL;DR (too long; didn't read). :) • Peppermint Festival 2013 is in full swing! Be sure to visit user profiles and give out hugs once an hour to get all the prizes. There are also great items in the Site Shops. Check out the General Chat forum for an item guide-- but watch out, there ARE spoilers there. So if you want to be 100% surprised, don't read it. :) The Peppermint Festival will run until 11:59 PM on February 16th (Puma Time), so a couple of days still remain! • Our first P3 Breeding Challenge has begun! Check out the full details HERE. There is still plenty of time to participate, and the prizes are AWESOME! | Welcome to Peppermint Festival 2013! It's still snowy and cold for a lot of our members, but spring is on the way... right?! This particular festival is mainly about two things: CANDY & FRIENDSHIP! That's right, we want you to celebrate delicious minty treats and also make sure your friends and fellow members know how much you enjoy having them around. :) Here's a bit of what you have to look forward to... Gifting Stump: As always, this is the perfect method to lob delicious treats at your friends! It can also be used to make new friends, since you can send gifts to any active user on P3. Hugs!: Awwwwwww. Once an hour for the duration of the festival, be sure to visit another user's profile and give them a big pepperminty hug. :) It'll put a smile on their face, and also put a festival-themed item in your inventory. Be sure to collect them all, since some will be gone forever after 11:59 PM on the 16th! Shop Items: This particular festival also has a ton of items to circulate through the Site Shops. New items, returning items, and some items 2013 only. Grab 'em while you can! Don't forget: if an item has a "13" in the corner, it will be 2013 ONLY and will disappear after 11:59 PM on the 16th. If an item has a corner icon but no date on it, it is a returning festival item and should be back next year! If an item has no corner icon, well, it's just a normal item that will stick around after the festival. We hope everyone enjoys, and happy Peppermint Festival to ALL! |
