Info on Geek Month 2025!!

Geek month is almost here! May 3rdt will be the start of Geek month this year. So expect new items to be added on the weekends during the month and some fun gifts will show up during month as well! During this festival we celebrate the geek in all of us! This month we are honoring the geek in us all. The paranormal! Zombies, UFO's, Aliens, Cryptids! Some fun games as well! This festival doesn't have profile games or gifting stump, however you will see a number of new items in the shops with the paranormal theme! Beware hovering UAP's! And, as customary we will also be celebrating Towel Day this month with some fun items there as well. So, be on the lookout for some new items arriving on the weekends this month and some activities in the forums as well!

Trials Update

A new merchant now appears in the Trials of the Loot Labyrinth! Buck sells Treasure items, including some new marking splatters.. Treasures are items that you redeem by successfully exiting the labyrinth. You can safely leave by exiting via campfire event, bringing and using a Pocket Portal Compass, or by defeating the final boss and leaving through the final portal. His current stock includes Warm Eggs, various monster drops, boss prism scarabs, gathering tools, and the new splatters. Buck's stock varies a bit between levels, and he only sells 3 to 5 items at a time, so you may not always see the item you are looking for.. And no, you do not need to start a new trial for him to appear.. he can show up in your current runs too! Happy treasure hunting!

Gathering Tweaks

A few items from gathering have had their quantity and drop rate adjusted. Bottled Lightning (Coral Cove) from 4.5% to 16% Plain String (Babbling Brook) qty from x2 to x4 and chance from 13% to 15% Twine (Babbling Brook) qty from x2 to x4 and chance from 13% to 15% Plasmafly (Flowering Field) qty from 1x to 3x and chance from 2% to 7% Mote of Chaos (Pyroclastic Plains) from 3.8% to 9% Searching & Tags All items used for gathering quests, such as the Sunflower Lantern, Frost Dynamo, etc, are now tagged [ Gathering Tool ] in their descriptions. You can use this term when searching in the crafting menu to more quickly find the recipes you need! Also, if you didn't know, you can search "Gourmet Food" to find the items the gourmet cooking NPC asks for too! If you think another item needs to be adjusted feel free to let us know in the comments (or Ideas & Suggestions Forum) and we will look into it :)

New Regular Markings Available when creating customs in the Orb Cavern or through the use of a Splatter. Airstream Dune Folly Logic Midway Rose Filigree Singularity Soap Wheelwork Did you know we are almost to 300 markings? Crazy, isn't it?! But wait.. haven't we seen some of those before? Yep! You may notice some of these are the same pattern as existing enchantments! By request, a selection of our enchantments (evo markings) have been converted to regular markings. (Focused mostly on enchantments that didn't have any similar regular markings.) Airstream = Updraft Folly = Whimsy Logic = Circuit Midway = Carnival Rose Filigree = Rose Tangle Wheelwork = Cogwheel The name difference is intentional, as markings and enchantments are two very different systems! New Face Markings Last but not least.. The Minimark Splatter - Facepaint now has 4 new markings!
