| I must admit, I am an autumn person. I am that weirdo that gets excited about pumpkin spice flavor everything, color-changing leaves, the coming autumn holidays! I love it all! This release is a bit mixed-seasons but .. a lot of fall fun for the autumn-lovers like me ;) and I am sure in Zarrion, home of the pumas, every season is always in season! New Evolutions!
These can be found in the demos, morpholixer and orb cavern like all our other Evos :) • Monarch Wings • Moth Antennae • Butterfly Antennae These wonderful new Evolutions are from Yam McYam [#2671] -- Thank you Yammikins! :D New Markings!

| We have been busy behind the scenes! A huge rewrite of the back-end has been underway for months and is rapidly approaching. It is currently in its last phases of testing and tweaking, but isn't quite ready for live yet. We don't have an ETA yet for the update. So! What is this update going to do? The update will: - Improve site security - Include some quality of life changes - Enable more control over various features for administrators - Make it much much faster and easier for us to develop features going forward Ideally most of these changes are happening invisibly-- your gameplay should not be impacted and P3 should run as normal. Some changes however, do impact gameplay and I would like to detail these before the update happens, so you know what to expect! Pin the Tail on the Puma One upcoming change to the site includes retiring the Pin the Tail game from the site. :'( This feature was hardly ever used and functioned only as another random profile click.
Pin The Tail will be REMOVED FROM THE SITE when this update goes live. This means the following items will become collectables only and no longer give access to the game! • 2nd Birthday Puma Tail • 3rd Birthday Puma Tail • 4th Birthday Puma Tail • 5th Birthday Puma Tail • 6th Birthday Puma Tail • 7th Birthday Puma Tail
So if you want to use them, do so ASAP, ideally before birthday ends, as the game will be removed in the future. Notification Settings and Log A new page showing a history of your notifications, and settings for notifications, will be available in the update!
ALL notifications will show on this page, so you can always review any you may have missed! Notifications that display on your regular pages have a limit now, and a link to view/manage any more unread notifications. Ones that you disable will never show up on your main pages, and ONLY be visible on the new notifications page. Bone Collector Alas, poor Rufus... his secret wares just aren't very secret anymore and between Kazoo pestering him for toys and Hydracat stealing all his food.. he has just given up and joined the ranks of regular quest giver... Bah!!!
Part of the upcoming changes to the back-end code include unifying the codebase for quests. This unfortunately means that the Bone Collector is a bit different in the future... He will still ask for a sum of shards (approximately 200 or so), and some items like he normally did, but will reward you with a token like the other quest npcs do. You will still only be able to do one quest a day. These tokens will be spent in a new shop just like the other npcs have, with the token balance being taken into account of 1 token = about 200 shards. This means his rewards will no longer be top secret, anyone can view them in his shop, and you will be free to discuss them without breaking any pesky secrecy rules ;) Some of these changes may still be tweaked and changed before it goes live, but generally this will be the fate of poor Rufus. Bank Interest Currently, premium users get a weekly spending pence refund-- this will be removed in the update! :( Sorry! To compensate for the removal, your bank interest will be increased instead. You will also need to visit the bank to claim it. I know that this change is probably a bit upsetting, but the way the pence was being calculated was less than ideal and hard on the server, and even incorrect with its calculation at times, depending on where you shop. Oops! D: Custom Puma Paradigm/Color blends Future customs and demo images will now allow creation for/previewing of color and paradigm blending. As of right now, it does NOT include paradigm-paradigm blends, only paradigm-color. That might change! This means you can mix the color red #FF0000 and the paradigm Interstellar on your custom puma, or whatever other mix you want. The mixes will always be 50/50 for now. Other Changes... - Editing your shop will give a better summary of what is changed/removed - More secure cookies and encryption - Friends online counter! - Minor css theme changes Please remember these are UPCOMING changes, and are not yet live! When the update does go live there will be another big news post with all the final details and #s. This is just a big heads-up! :) Sorry for the wall of text! The release date for this is not yet determined, but I will let you know when we have a time/date for it! HAPPY BIRTHDAY P3! 12 years... Next year our little pumas will be teens!. They grow up so fast these days. :: wipes away a tear:: Thank you all for being here to celebrate with us. YES, it's been rough, we have had our ups and downs. We have lost people along the way but gained some new friends. I hope we can make this event fun this year. We have some fun gifts, and items. Maybe a Game or two as well! ( get ready for wishing kettle!) As always our "wayback" machine will be bringing some shops from the past with oldies but goodies to buy and collect. ALSO Thank you to the BEST staff in the world and our wonderful members! You guys make it all worth while! The Birthday festival starts at midnight puma time and ends midnight the 22nd of September! Happy 12th everyone! Alex~ |
