People come from miles around to hear the bayou big band play. It's a good night when you can get in and get a table. Come on in and listen to the band. This week, we have a celebration of music and dance. All the bayou regulars are here. And look! Shrimpy will be singing some of his blues standards! What a treat. Big Ed will be playing his famous blues guitar "Lucy" and Otis is on the keyboards tickling those ivories! On a hot sultry night like this, the best place to cool off is The Bijou! So, come on in... join the party, dance and sing, and enjoy a game or two of pool on the back deck but, watch out for the pool shark. He might just leave you broke! Also, if you are so inclined, and become inspired, visit Big Ed's music shop out back, Sax and Violins. The best prices on the bayou! And top off your look with the most sought after hats and head wear at Fascination All the coolest looks for the cool cats! In a dark and sultry part of the swamps of Zarrion... not too far from Pumatopia but still hidden in the deep lush forest, there is a popular nightclub called the Bayou Bijou. The Bijou is a jazz club featuring live music, dancing and a home cooked local menu that patrons love. It is very "down home" cooking and many feel it evokes nostalgic memories of their younger years with family and friends. Here at the Bijou you will find "Big Ed", a popular blues guitarist and crooner who is well loved by many. The bijou is packed on the nights he plays live. The Bijou's corner table seating is known as "the Speak EZ". Many regulars can be seen sitting in the booths and chatting away thru the night. The Bijou also has an ornate hand carved pool table. Possibly one of the nicest in the area and many a wealthy patron has offered to buy it for insane amounts of cash. But, they will never sell... Monty and Clyde spend their evenings there.. playing pool, laughing with the other clientele and waiting for the music to begin... • Monty T.
