| A new feature has arrived that should be helpful to people. :) The Portal is P3's solution to the problem of what to do when you don't like the way a kitten turned out. Or perhaps you realized you had *NEVER EVER EVER* wanted to breed a kitten out of a certain parent-- but you did by mistake! Woops! The Portal sends Pumas to a great new life free of pixels, 1s, and 0s-- and removes them from our database. :) This is 100% PERMANENT. You should only use the Portal if you are absolutely certain that you want to delete a Puma FOREVER. You can Portal a Puma from their profile page. Scroll to the bottom and there should be a new box under the profile edit box. Here are the conditions for using the Portal: • No 1st Generation Custom Pumas • No OOAK Pumas • No Pregnant Pumas • No Alpha Pumas • No Pumas that have offspring (check their Offspring list) • No Pumas that have items equipped • No Pumas that are currently set for Public Breeding • No Pumas that are currently set For Sale Now, that may sound like a lot of conditions-- but it's to avoid any confusion or possible issues. If you can't accidentally delete a Puma with items, for example, you won't lose those items! As mentioned above, this is something that should ONLY be used if you are 100% certain you want to remove a Puma COMPLETELY from the database FOREVER. If you make a mistake with portalling, you will have 48 hours to reverse the procedure. Check your Control Panel on the index page for the Undo link. Enjoy! And no worries-- no Pumas are harmed when they go through the Portal. :) It is safe and they will be well taken care of on the other side! |

| As promised in the last news announcement about markings, we have three final ones to announce. :) Flame Point Runes Scout Head over to the Puma Demo to check them out! (Also, please be sure to read the new announcement below this one! :D) EDIT: Oh boy, I just realized it's May 9th! Today was supposed to be the day where April's TE items increased in price and March's TE Items were removed completely from the shop. | Sorry for the last minute warning, but I literally just received a email from the hosting company. From 10PM - 1 AM Puma Time tonight, there may be some intermittent down time. Hosting company expects it to only be a few minutes at most. They are replacing some RAM on our server! So if P3 is down for a bit, that is why. :) No worries! |

| At last, a new game has arrived for all your word puzzle people! :) Head over to the Games page to see our latest-- Word Search! You'll have 2 minutes to find all the words in your Word Bank. The more quickly you find the words, the more time bonus you'll receive for your score. :) Once the time is up, you'll have the option to submit your score or start over. | A couple of changes to the Pride and Inventory areas. :) Prides • At the moment, pages have been added to prides-- 36 Pumas per page. Some people had ridiculously huge prides and were causing browser crashes. :) • You will shortly be able to choose how you view your own pride and how you wish to view the prides of others-- All Pumas in one page, 36 per page, 108 per page, 360 per page, etc. • You will also shortly be able to set your default sorting view. Inventory / Secret Cellar • You can now choose to view only a certain type of item-- Food, Environments, Wearables, etc. • More searching/sorting options will be available soon. For example, being able to see all Snail Foods only, or all Wearable Gloves only. Enjoy! EDIT: This is just a small update so I didn't want to add a brand new News Announcement for it. :) On the Users Online page, you will now see a "gift" icon if a user's Gifting Stump is available! | Hello everyone! This is just a quick notification to let you all know some upcoming Network Maintenance for our servers! Tomorrow, April 24th (Saturday) around 9 AM Puma Time, our Live Chat is being worked on for approximately 1 hour (could be longer, could be less!). You may notice the Live Chat not functioning correctly or at all during this time period. Do not panic! Things will be back to normal and hopefully we'll see some new updates soon as well. :) Sunday, April 25th around 10 PM Puma Time into the early morning of Monday April 26th, our hosting company is having a brief period of maintenance. We are told we should see no interruptions, so everything should behave correctly with no downtime. :) If you do notice some downtime, never fear-- everything will return to normal shortly. I know that maintenance can often be inconvenient, but unfortunately it is a necessary "evil" in order to continue to move forward with new updates as well as to ensure reliability/stability. :) |
