Ventures - Coming Tuesday of Next Week

Hey guys! With the crazy volume of stuff we have released this month, I am going to push back the launch of Ventures to next Tuesday, the 26th. We have been busy tweaking numbers and fixing bugs. Crafting, Salvaging, & Gathering!

More new features! Today we have Crafting, Salvaging, Gathering and other quests, and even a new shop! There is a lot to cover, but I will try to keep it to the point. Lets dive in! Crafting ~~Crafting recipes using tags have been temporarily disabled due to a bug.~~ Everything should be good to go now Crafting is a way to create new items. You input up to 4 items, and if your recipe is successful, gain something new! Successful recipes are learned forever, so you can always craft them again with ease. If your recipe is incorrect, your items might be consumed unless you purchase the Experimental Insurance for 5,000pp. Crafting only allows you to input valid crafting items, so if an item isn't used in a recipe, it simply wont show up. This is to protect your items that aren't meant to be crafted with! [ Click here for Crafting ] Salvaging Some items have been added to salvage pools where you might reclaim scrap from them. Items up for salvage may not always give scrap, but scrap is a useful material to have for crafting. Your special TE items will never be part of the salvage system-- they are safe! [ Click here for Salvaging ] Gathering Gathering is done via quests, but these quests are repeatable all day long if you wish. The Flowering Field and Babbling Brook have a 5 minute timeout when you successfully complete them. All other gathering quests have no limits! There are 8 gathering areas in total, divided into 4 focused on foraging, and 4 focused on mining. Each area requires a more complicated to obtain/craft item, and progress in difficulty through 4 stages. [ Click here for Gathering ] More New Quests! There are 3 new quests focused on using the new materials! These new quests will help teach you recipes if you pay attention to what they have to say when you are successful! Gourmet Cooking Asks for crafted gourmet foods Gives pence and hints for cooking recipes. 10 Plays per day (15 for premium) The Tinkerer Asks for gathered materials Gives pence and hints for various crafting recipes. 10 Plays per day (15 for premium) Alchemy Research Lab Asks for crafted alchemy materials and related ingredients Gives pence and hints for various alchemical recipes. 10 Plays per day (15 for premium) [ Click here for Crafting Quests ] New Shop Whisker sells some very important crafting materials! Some of these materials are special "Crafting Tools" that wont ever be consumed while crafting. Some examples are the Basic Cookware Kit, Novice Alembic, Frame Loom, and any other that says [ Crafting Tool ] in the description! Others, such as the blueprints, are consumed while crafting and you will want to stock up! Note that he also sells the Foraging Basket and Mining Pans needed to get started with gathering. :) [ Click here for Whisker's Workshop ] More Info A guide has been prepared! Adventures In Zarrion Trials of the Loot Labyrinth Do your pumas have what it takes to clear the Trials of the Loot Labyrinth? Take on the Trials by visiting the Games category. [ Trials of the Loot Labyrinth ] How to Play Select a puma with at least 5 health, 5 happiness, and 5 hunger available. The puma cannot be exhausted, for sale, or in a transfer. Select any supplies you wish to bring, and then hit Start to begin! Beware.. the trials are difficult! If your adventuring is nearing its end, or you simply wish to cash out your treasures, find a campfire and end your journey. For an in-depth guide please check out the guide below: [ Guide to the Trials ] Weekly Challenge Clear the weekly challenge to get a special shard of emerald orb! This shard is a crafting material. If you gather 4, you can make a quarter. Combine four quarters to make a whole emerald orb! The weekly challenge resets every Monday at 6am. Chat, ask questions, report bugs! Updates on the Way!

Three BIG updates coming soon! We have three major new features on the way this December! They are being spaced out by a week each to give us time to facilitate their launches and handle any bugs that arise. 1. Adventures in Zarrion - Trials of the Loot Labyrinth ETA: Monday, December 4th The site will need to come down for about 30 to 60 minutes sometime on Monday to perform this update. This is a new game that has been in the making for a while now.. the RPG from the Fundraiser Campaign! Your pumas will take on new roles as warriors or magicians and explore the dungeon, battling monsters and bosses along the way in the pursuit of treasure! 2. Crafting, Salvaging, New Quests ETA: December 11th There shouldn't be any downtime for this update, but keep your eyes on the news just in case. :') Crafting will be launching with over 300 recipes to discover, along with Salvaging to turn some older items into useful scrap parts. Gathering Quests and Crafting Quests will also be released and packed full of shiny new materials to use in the crafting system, or to consume crafted items for a nice chunk of pence! 3. Ventures ETA: December 18th Again likely no downtime or minimal downtime. Ventures are a way for pumas to help perform various tasks and bring you items! Pumas will learn skills to take on even more difficult ventures, and you'll be helping other players along the way! Available ventures will be things like shopping, cooking, adventuring in the dungeons, gathering, and more! What! Where?! When! Why?! :) Some of these are promises made for the fundraiser campaign, but some of them are surprise additions we made during development! As these features come out you can expect a news post detailing what they are and guides to help you play and use the new features! All of these cool new things will be part of the ongoing updates P3 receives, with new recipes, treasure, and other cool items being added over time. Keep your eyes and ears open for more news this Monday! Eeeee!
