| February 15th means we have some new Markings and Paradigms for you all. Thanks to Quad and Yam for these! You'll notice that the Paradigms have a particular theme to fit our festival... MARKINGS • Butterflies [ SAMPLE ] • Snowshoe [ SAMPLE ] PARADIGMS • Chocomint • Lavendermint • Lemonmint • Sushimint These are all now available for Demos, Custom Creation, and Utilities. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MARKING/EVOLUTION/PARADIGM RELEASES We are going to change how Markings, Evolutions, and Paradigms are released. :) • Markings & Evolutions will be released 4 times a year, on the 15th of the month. The release months are: February, May, August, November. • Paradigms will continue to be released on the 15th of every month (12 times a year). Our current release schedule has meant that some of our awesome Markings AND Evolutions haven't gotten the exposure they deserve! This change should allow new Markings/Evolutions to gain some "market share" before new ones are released again. :) How many and what types are released will vary, depending upon the time of the year, site events, as well as your suggestions! |

| Just a few quick reminders for anyone who might have missed recent news posts and wants a TL;DR (too long; didn't read). :) • Peppermint Festival 2013 is in full swing! Be sure to visit user profiles and give out hugs once an hour to get all the prizes. There are also great items in the Site Shops. Check out the General Chat forum for an item guide-- but watch out, there ARE spoilers there. So if you want to be 100% surprised, don't read it. :) The Peppermint Festival will run until 11:59 PM on February 16th (Puma Time), so a couple of days still remain! • Our first P3 Breeding Challenge has begun! Check out the full details HERE. There is still plenty of time to participate, and the prizes are AWESOME! | Welcome to Peppermint Festival 2013! It's still snowy and cold for a lot of our members, but spring is on the way... right?! This particular festival is mainly about two things: CANDY & FRIENDSHIP! That's right, we want you to celebrate delicious minty treats and also make sure your friends and fellow members know how much you enjoy having them around. :) Here's a bit of what you have to look forward to... Gifting Stump: As always, this is the perfect method to lob delicious treats at your friends! It can also be used to make new friends, since you can send gifts to any active user on P3. Hugs!: Awwwwwww. Once an hour for the duration of the festival, be sure to visit another user's profile and give them a big pepperminty hug. :) It'll put a smile on their face, and also put a festival-themed item in your inventory. Be sure to collect them all, since some will be gone forever after 11:59 PM on the 16th! Shop Items: This particular festival also has a ton of items to circulate through the Site Shops. New items, returning items, and some items 2013 only. Grab 'em while you can! Don't forget: if an item has a "13" in the corner, it will be 2013 ONLY and will disappear after 11:59 PM on the 16th. If an item has a corner icon but no date on it, it is a returning festival item and should be back next year! If an item has no corner icon, well, it's just a normal item that will stick around after the festival. We hope everyone enjoys, and happy Peppermint Festival to ALL! |

| And update to the Puma Search has just been uploaded! You now have the option to check "Hide Pumas too Hungry for Breeding". This will filter out any Puma that has an Alpha which is too Hungry to be available for Out-of-Pride breeding (this is a Hunger greater than 50). The checkbox works for "For Sale" Pumas as well, but obviously there are no restrictions for purchasing Hungry Pumas. ;) I just wanted the filter to be more generic so you can use it in whatever way works best for your workflow! A few things to keep in mind about the Puma Search: • When you choose a currency, only the currency selected "matters". So for example, if you choose PP-- the Pumas listed are guaranteed to have a price/fee in PP. The TE price/fee section is completely ignored if you choose PP (meaning that Pumas you see MIGHT also have TE prices), just like the PP section is completely ignored if you choose TE. If you choose both, you can expect that the Pumas involved will either have a PP price/fee OR a TE price/fee set OR both. • Choosing "All Markings" or "All Evolutions" does NOT show you Markingless or Evolutionless Pumas. You have to specifically select those "-less" options from the drop down menu. An "All Markings & Markingless" option, as well as an "All Evolutions & Evolutionless" option is on my to-do list, but I do not have an ETA on that yet. Thanks for your patience! I have tested the Puma Search, and from what I can tell the Pumas it is returning are correct (and the Pumas left out are the too Hungry ones!). But if you notice something odd, please do let us know. :) You can send me a PM, or post in the Bug Reports forum. Enjoy! |

| Do you love to breed Pumas? Mix various colors, markings and paradigms to see what creations you can come up with? Maybe you are brand new, and just putting your toes in the water. You'd like to try your hand at breeding, but you are not sure where to begin! The P3 Breeding Challenge will put your breeding skills to the test. :) You will be given a breeding theme, a list of markings to choose from, and approximately 3 months to breed a final entry Puma that fits within the rules! There is a new forum area for this challenge, which will have all the information you need to get started. This Challenge is open to all users of any skill level, and will run for approximately 3 months. The first Challenge begins on February 1, 2013 at 12:00 AM Puma Time. Please head over to the new forum area to read all the details and see what the first Breeding Challenge has in store for you! The Rules & Information topic can be found HERE. And a special note to Puma owners-- you might want to check if you own any Pumas that have the Breeding Challenge Markings. :) Lots of people will be looking to request breedings! |

| Transfers have just been upgraded with the ability to send a comment along with your transfer. This works for all three types: Bank, Item, and Puma. The comment is not required, but should be a nice and easy way to indicate what your transfer is for. Pre-order payments, purchases, fun gifts, anything!
