| We are looking for 3 creative people to write articles for the Gazette. You must be: willing to submit an article at the end of every month for publication and stick to deadlines. Articles can be : Puma interest Wildlife facts Feature Stories about hobbies or activities interviews with other members. Or if you have an idea for a regular feature you can discuss it with me! | April is almost over, I can hardly believe this year is going so fast! But, the end of April means Geek month! As our old timers know, Geek month is 1 month of geeky themed new items. And rerelease of older "geek" things as well. May also means the revered and time-honored holiday "Towel Day" which appears toward the end of the month! So, I'm looking forward to a month of fun things! This year, I am going to run Geek month a bit differently. In prior years, we released 1 or two items new and a few old every weekday. This year I am thinking I'll release a handful of the older items on Sunday and release only new on the weekdays. I hope this will allow folks to pick up the items they missed over a longer time and have fun hunting for the new items as well! As always Quad has started a Geek Month 2016 Thread in "General Chat" So you can keep an eye out for things you might want when they are posted! I'm looking forward to this month and showing off the really fun and cool items! Remember, these things will be in the shops. The NEW items "might" show a planet icon on the bottom right corner. This too will be a bit different as I'd prefer to actually keep some of these amazingly fun items as regular restocks. Geek Month Pumatized Themes to watch for: Harry Potter Legend of Zelda X-files Pokemon And of course the usual May the 4th and Towel day items. Countdown to GEEK month !! |

| A Kickstarter Time Line Update! | |

| Some folks have been worried about the end date and not having the funds until the end of the month. I asked the Company how they collect. I was told they will try to collect funds first, THEN they will message for funds: At the conclusion of a Kickstarter campaign, you might have several backers who had their cards declined when Amazon attempted to process their donation. Amazon notifies the backers of the failed transaction and will email the backer requesting an updated form of payment. So folks who wish to participate, yet have no cash until the first of May can still pledge since they will then be given the opportunity to make a payment until appx May 7th. This will still count towards the Kickstarter and you will still get the rewards! |

| There is about a week left! We aren't too far from the stretch goal! If you can help, please do.. and THANK YOU SO MUCH for being the BEST community online. Every one of you matters to us. We are thankful and grateful for your support. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The problem with being a tiny site with a small community is, we are always behind the 8 ball. Funding is difficult and Right now we are pressed for time. Bills are due and we are literally running on empty trying to catch up. So, we are running a kickstarter campaign to try to get some funding to keep going and perhaps add more features. We want to grow the site, not simply "exist". The details are as follows. [click picture for full details ]  This project will only be funded if at least $1,000 is pledged by Wed, Apr 27 2016 6:43 AM EDT. Please consider helping, the rewards are great! If you cannot donate to the kickstarter consider purchasing TE for orbs or premium or site goodies. We will be adding in a lot more items shortly. But, right now we need to pay the bills. | Things are going strong! We hope to keep going! This is an update to the many questions regarding Kickstarter and Paypal funding. ============== From Kami #72 By all means, please keep donating through the Kickstarter, that will pave our path towards more rewards if we can get towards the stretch goals!!! However, some have inquired about possibly getting some rewards for donating through the Pocket Puma Pets website as well, by buying TE. Well, we have a good answer for you! ~ For every 5-10 TE bought through the website, a user gets their choice of a modification tool that is currently in the TE shop and a selected exclusive Kickstarter reward environment ! ~ For every 11-25 TE bought through the website, a user gets their choice of two modification tools and a selected exclusive Kickstarter reward environment + exclusive Kickstarter petite. ~ For every 25 - 50 TE bought through the website, a user gets all previously mentioned rewards plus exclusive Kickstarter dragn egg ~ For every 50 - 100 TE bought through the website, a user gets all previously mentioned rewards plus exclusive Kickstarter phoenix wearables set. ~ If a user purchases more than 100 TE through the website, they will get all previously mentioned rewards plus a surprise! (to be detailed later) So! If you have any friends that want to donate, help out, and they can't do so via Kickstarter, well that means they now can! :) Please remember, this is an either / or situation!
