As I stated last posting, We want YOUR songs! PLEASE though, don't send more than 2 suggestions at a time.
If you find NEW stuff to suggest, feel free to send, just don't keep sending the same song over and over :)
If you wish to suggest music, you must PRIVATE message me directly with the link and the subject line "Suggestion for Music". It would help me a GREAT deal if you would also include the name of the band and the song with your video clip. I am running into removed videos and I have no way to search w/o information included.
Also, If you discover I did NOT use your particular clip It's usually because it isn't available, isn't playing properly or has a long commercial in front of it. I will try to search out a good version when this happens.

This upcoming M3 will post on July 1st

Next category: Body Parts! No we have not turned into ax murderers! I want songs that have a part of the body in the title. Like.. Blue eyes, Blue skies, Tongue in Cheek, Hair of Gold, Foot Foot.... lol.. you get the picture...

I love the rainy nights is one of my favorites, too. :D The back rhythm of the windshield wipers has me humming it every time we have to turn them on in our truck. lol

This was a good category! Love the pics!

SairyeJun 17, 2013 11:31 pm
Additional listening (because I think of all the good choices after MMM is already posted): Don't Go By The River by Voltaire.

mrsgunsageJun 18, 2013 12:28 am
Lu, I very nearly sent in Saltwater Room. Owl City is such total win. :)

*sigh* I wish I would have remembered to send in this one!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GS2NCamKRo&feature=share&list=PL6A13CDB1FCDFBA04 "Swimming in the Sea" - Gaelic Storm live.

GO LISTEN. Gaelic Storm is an awesome Celtic band, and as one of the things that brought my hubby and I together initially is our love of Celtic music, it's always close to my heart. One of the things I love about them is that all of their songs tell a story of some sort, and it's just fun to listen and dance to. *mutters to self about not remembering to send things in*

The one I suggested (for anyone who is confused about it XD) Is basically about being fed up and taking a bath to forget about your stress.

I remember playing Bridge Over Troubled Water with my brother at the local Bardavon Theatre in front of a vast crowd. I had to have been about ten to twelve. My brother was a very gifted pianist, and I a rather good flutist. It brings back wonderful memories. We were the only children given a solo/duet in the show, although there were several other kids who played various music making objects. The best was being told I was "pretty hot" (on the flute) by the lead singer of Orleans.

I had the vinyl album of "Bridge over troubled Water" it had a scratch in it, and whenever I hear it now, I expect to hear.... "Sail on silver girl, sail on.. Sail on.. Sail on.... (Etc)" I always had to give the needle a push at that point. :-D

Also!

http://youtu.be/A8PvlpeOZPc "Racing the Tide" - the Elders

One of my favorite other "water" themed songs by The Elders - the first celtic band we actually ever saw together in our hometown where they did a street concert.

;D Now you'll have to put up with me doing this because we just saw them this Saturday AT that festival footage that I linked above.
