If you find NEW stuff to suggest, feel free to send, just don't keep sending the same song over and over :) If you wish to suggest music, you must PRIVATE message me directly with the link and the subject line "Suggestion for Music". It would help me a GREAT deal if you would also include the name of the band and the song with your video clip. I am running into removed videos and I have no way to search w/o information included. Also, If you discover I did NOT use your particular clip It's usually becose it isn't available, is'nt playing properly or has a long commercial in front of it. I will try to search out a good version when this happens. Theme for next week "Movie Music". What does that mean? Ok, we all love movies... but what about that song you'd NEVER have heard until it showed up in a movie? There are so many great songs out there featured in a movie you love! Send them to me! | Alex I thought Safety in Numbers was ok but I don't see how Goin Southbound and Sunset Blvd missed being A side song...I loved both of them...the beat was fantastic. | ||

| Wow! So many good songs!! I've never even heard of most of these bands/singers. No don't stop! I need more fribbles!!and of course to expand my collection of good music! (mostly lol) | ||

| @singlerose, Interestingly, The two bands you picked were bands who were friends with my Dad during his Radio stint. Stan Ridgeway was the lead singer of Wall of Voodoo and from all accounts a REALLY nice guy. He met dad while he (Stan) was out walking his cement gargoyle...yea long story. and CityBoy was one of the bands my dad sponsored on his radio show, I have the drummers drumsticks (autographed) a poster (autographed) and an awesome gold and enamel Pin that looks like the bricks on the LP cover. :) WHY these guys weren't more famous is beyond me. | PhantomFire, your dad sounds like one of the neatest human beings on Earth. How does one walk a cement gargoyle? Secretly, I want one. Even if I don't comment, I like goin through and listenin to the music of others. Sometimes I find things I really REALLY like, and I would never have found without this weekly event. |

| @billy, as it was explained to me, Wall of VooDoo was in concert that weekend, and They were driving around in a VW microbus stopping at The large music stores ( evidently back in the 80's they were HUGE behemoth stores called "Peaches" and they had stages and huge projection screens playing the New music videos that just started to appear. Dad was there doing some type of promotion for his Radio Station and the microbus pulled up and Stan got out dragging this insane Gargoyle ( i THINK, it is the one on this LP cover: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Wall-Voodoo-1st-Ep-w-RIng-Fire-80-NM-LP-4trk-s-t-/16/!B8wkKI!!2k~$(KGrHqZ,!l0Ey+jCzNOkBM3+n3dhbw~~_3.JPG) on a leather leash. He got into the store, stopped and yelled "I'm Stanard Q Ridgeway and I can't make love!" and then left. Dad met them at their concert since his station was the sponsor. He said Stan, was pure genius. |
