Hello! And welcome to the second installment of "Monday Music Madness!"

Band Name: Walk off the Earth. Walk off the Earth is a Canadian indie band formed in 2006 in Burlington, Ontario. This song is a cover version of "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye (Which is also worth a listen)
Enjoy!
Somebody That I Used to Know

There is a wicked parody of this song out as well which is honestly funny. Worth digging up on you tube.

Band Name:Thirty Seconds To Mars
30 Seconds to Mars is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1998.
Give a listen to "This Is War"

hey awesome!!

Thanks so much for choosing my suggestion,Walk off the Earth Alex. I think this band will go far. They already appeared on Ellen and from what has been reported by our local news, they have gotten a recording contract at Grant Avenue Studios here in Hamilton.I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do!

|Clicks the selections and listens to some great tunes!|

Oh good picks Alex :)

The first one I love...and darn it I just sent the wrong version lol but I love them both

I'm not a big fan of the second one that much...various reasons..some personal lol

The third one is alright...not something I would listen to on a day to day basis I think though

Wheehee! I love 30 Seconds to Mars...they're one of my top 5 favorite bands. When I first heard "This is War", I fell in love instantly. I still don't own their newest album sadly, but I do own their second album and most of their first album...and the original version of "Hero", which is now known as "Year Zero". I became a fan in 2005, following the release of their album "A Beautiful Lie" when one of my friends sent me some of their older songs followed by their at-the-time new hit "The Fantasy"

This is quite a good cover of Somebody I Used to Know. You'd never think 5 people could get so much nuance out of one guitar. :) The vocals were strong even if not exactly arresting. I give thumbs up and will be checking out more of this band.

I'd never seen the video to This is War, though I've always enjoyed the song itself. Didn't much care for the video.

The Pendulum song just was not my thing. It sounded all over the place and mish-mashy with a warbly, underdone vocalalist who was extremely hard to understand.

Don't like the first two and the third one doesnt play. It's just set to 0.00

Wow...I never would have thought a guitar was big enough for that many hands. Great job though...I really liked it. The second one is a "thinker" or thats what I call em. Took some doing and came up with a winner. The third song was okay....I liked the music but they lyrics were a bit hard to understand.

ok I got the third one to play and it's just weird. I can't understand a word they're saying! The music is kinda spacey like the theme music from a sci-fi show which is kind of cool.
Oh! they are Aussies! No wonder "colour" is spelled correctly :D
(I had to watch the Official video so I could see it ....I think they might have been licking Cane Toads....)

Walk off the Earth does some *amazing* covers :)! Definitely a favorite of mine. If you haven't watched their videos you should, very very talented! They also have some originals that rock (including some up for free download!) :D Omnomnom good musics!

30 seconds to mars is a favorite, as well as Pendulum. Excellent choices :3! This monday music madness is super awesome!

The five people on a guitar thing is awesome and different. This is why I like this Music Monday - exposure to things I wouldn't find otherwise. I never would have thought you could really do that on a guitar but hey, that's just awesome! :D
