Location: Orchard Dome, Uncle Vito's Biodome Bunker.
Pinky trots into the biodome where his sister, Flora is working. A quick search finds her busily planting small saplings. "So, how're ya liking the orchard dome, Flora? Claustrophobia leaving ya alone?"
Flora scrubs the soil from her trotters and smiles happily at her brother. "Hey Bro! I love this! This is the most useful I've felt, like ever. Crazy to be growing a huge orchard on the ocean floor in a horticulture dome!"
Pinky nods and grins, "Uncle Vito is one smart pig. He worked hard to put everyone where we'd fit in best. Liking your apartment so far? Cramped any?"
"Oh no, not at all. I'm great there. Not too big, not too small, and lots of windows. Cozy actually. If I feel a little tense, it's a short trot into this wide open place. It's soothing watching the ocean life swimming out there. Very calming"
Flora's placid expression shifts to a serious one, "I feel like I'm forgetting something Pinky. It's been bugging me, and I can't figure out why!"
Pinky shakes his head, "Don't stress. Most of us are going through that. We all had to leave in a hurry. It's a natural reaction. It'll pass."
Flora's eyes suddenly go wide. She gasps, "Oh NO! Drew! I forgot all about Drew!"
"'Drew', Drew who? Sounds like a real dork." Pinky snerks.
Flora stomps her foot and scowls fiercely at him, "For your information Mr. Pinky, who sounds like a toe, and sometimes acts like a heel, the day before we left to come here, Drew asked me on a dinner date to that new formal restaurant in Shadetree Villa. The one called Drew's, oddly enough." She sighs deeply, "that date was supposed to happen tonight, and I'm not even able to call him, since phone signals can't reach here or topside. I wanted to be there Pinky. He's a very nice gentleman."
Pinky stared at his sister, "Whoa. That's no chump-change dining. Drew's is extra fancy, according to the buzz.", chagrined, he apologized, "Sorry for the nasty jab Sis. So, um, what kind of guy is he?"
Flora softened. She had a hard time staying angry at Pinky. Especially because he tended to blush snout to tail when embarrassed, such a cute brother.
"It's okay Bro, no worries. Drew is a sweet guy, considerate, mannerly, quiet. He's a cheetah too. He's dapper, and seems to have nice friends. The ones I met were kindly. I think Drew said he owns a restaurant, or he's a business partner with one, or something like that. I never have seen him angry, or behaving coarsely or rudely, and he never treated me like a piece of meat. He seems very nice, Pinky, I think you'd like him. And I'm hating that I stood him up tonight."
Pinky looked very sad. He gently hugged her, and offered comforting words and encouragement. She was clearly heartbroken, he knew tears were on the way next. Hopefully one day she'll meet someone nice, who will be as good to her as she is to everyone else.

Location: Private VIP Dinning Area, Drew's Restaurant.
The dapper cheetah paced around his cove in the VIP area. He was worried about Flora, it wasn't like her to be so untimely, and it wasn't like her to be nowhere he searched. Even her phone number was nonfunctional. She was two hours late. He pondered contacting the police, but felt that would be too invasive of him. The more likely explanation was she'd broken their relationship, and wanted to be left alone.
He gazed at the table set for two. All her favorite foods were immaculately presented. Tears welled up in his eyes when he stared at the heart shaped ruby ring he'd carefully placed atop her sweetheart cake. This would've been the evening he asked her The Big Question. He loved Flora, and had hoped she felt the same.
He turned away from the painful scene to compose himself, then began walking towards his private exit. The dutiful Maitre d ' approached him.
"May I be of assistance, Sir?"
"Chambley, please donate everything there to a needy establishment, it doesn't matter which. Just make sure it goes where it's needed. Oh, and please add 20 pounds of extra foods to that donation, Chambley."
"And the jewelry, Sir?"
Drew turns around to gaze at it one last time, "That too. Perhaps it will help someone else."
"Very good, Mr. Drew. The car and chauffer are awaiting your arrival. Have a pleasant evening, Sir."
Drew nods gravely, exiting his restaurant on the way to yet another evening alone. For the first time he regreted opening the restaurant. Especially since it had been for Flora that he'd opened it's doors.
"Yes, thank you. Goodnight Chamblay."
