| *starts playing the air guitar* Well, I'm a kid in a candy store this week! Metallica, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, AC/DC. Judas Priest, Van Halen, annnndd Def Leppard! I'm gunna be head banging till my head falls off! (Come on CC, Eww! xD!) I head some new ones in the mix too! I very much enjoyed them, thanks for posting those! I love the song "Dream on" a bunch, but I never figured out who wrote it, I'm sooo glad it was posted here! The long wonder has been answered! =D! Master of the Puppets will probably always be a favorite for me. I remember I was about 4 maybe, and my dad was out listening to music in the shed. I went to go see what tunes my daddy was playing, and this song was playing. This was my FIRST metal song I had listened to! I still remember my dad saying: "This band is called, 'Metallica' " I repeated the word, hardly being about to say it! Thank you for the awesome memory! I am sooo listening to all these songs again! |

| Led Zepplin - who doesn't love it? :D And VIKING KITTENS :D Anything Metallica is automatically my fav. Whiskey in the Jar is an awesome one by them. Metallica used to be what I would listen to prior to swim meets when I was on the swim team to pump me up before an event. :D Hehe. I checked prior to the posting however I think the older copy posted ( I use a template to transfer to test) and the new one with the correct links didn't copy to clip board. I HAD fixed those in the new copy.Clearly puter had other ideas.... Puters.. gotta love em! | ||

| WOO! Nice to see there are plenty of Metallica fans here :D I've been trying to get to one of their concerts since 2008, every time they've been to Norway... Sadly, I've never actually gotten to go to one of their concerts. However, I suddenly found out they were going to Gothenburg with three other bands ("The Big Four", Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax, a few years back... Convinced my dad to go, along with my (very new at the time) stepbrother and stepmother. I loved the concert, even if the other three weren't quite as enthusiastic... :lol: At least they came along at all, and I had the best time of my life. :3 I've also gone to quite a few Kamelot concerts with my brother, so I was contemplating sending in some of their stuff... Maybe next time! At least I know for sure what I'm sending in this time around. :D |

| i remember going to the skating rink to rollerskate and they NEVER missed a time of playing Dirty deeds done dirt cheap ... ya i know i am dating myself , im old lol ... love that song most of these are awesome cant go wrong with zepplin , metallica, megadeath, van halen, cheap trick, judas priest ...some of the other songs i had not heard til now but i think they are all excellent , each has its own unique epicness :) | ||

| AWWW YEEAAHHH! Tons of awesome songs! A real nice collection to totally rock out to. I'm not a huge Zepp fan but my partner is, so listening to them totally made me think of them and grin like an idiot the entire time. XD I hadn't heard Immigrant Song in forever, and I admit, I -love- that one, and Black Dog! I first heard them on a road trip with my mom, so hooray for a blast from the past! [My best friend adores Black Dog as well as Kashmir, which I was personally sad not to see, but oh well, great picks anyway!!] Another friend of mine is a total AC/DC fan, so I know Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, and while I'm not a fan, I -love- that one, and I have it on my playlist anyway for when I need something super rockin' for when I draw. Another fave of mine is Runnin' With the Devil, an epic choice, and one that any hard rock/metal/classic rock play list is never complete without! I've actually never heard anything from Megadeth, but Mortal Kombat Annihilation is super cool. I originally never showed interest into them because of an ex-friend who tried to push them onto me, but -wow-, this song is epic! I'm going to have to check them out now, and I think I can officially say that I have a good memory to replace that bad one. =D The "Dream On" cover is just...omg...I have -no words- to describe how stunned and amazed I am at how gorgeous it is. Ronnie James Dio has an amazing and delicious voice, it's so unique and just -wonderful-. Words, why are they so difficult? XD I feel like I'm repeating a few people, but... METALLICA!! One of my top favorite bands, and I'd never heard Whiskey in the Jar before, but wow! I think I've got myself a new favorite Metallica song! And now I must go check out the original, for I've never heard it either ^^; I only know one Judsas Priest song, and wow, Hard as Iron is really neat, I love the vocals, and the the music in general. I might have to add this to my drawing playlist for sure! I've heard of Nightwish, but never their music, and wow, the singer has a beautiful voice, and she's so pretty as well! Very interesting music video, as well. There need to be more really recognized female singers in the 'rock' and 'metal' categories. [If anyone else knows any awesome ones, please do let me know!] So many neat picks, and those are my favorites up there, and I'm glad I got to check out some bands/singers I'd never have thought to give a shot before this! I love the diversity, even though they all fall under one type of category, if that makes sense. Looking forward to the next MMM for sure! <3 I'm rambling, so I'm gonna shush here before I take up more of your time!! XD <3 |
