| Power ballads!! ^.^ :D To be perfectly honest, I've never been *that much* of a fan of ballads, save for the two that I sent. However, I did completely forget that "Nothing Else Matters" is technically one, and also "Hold On". And those are epic tunes that I tend to sing to in the car. Sooooo maybe I like them more than I let on. ;) |

| ESTRANGED! Yessss! I'm so happy to see that up there! I'm also thrilled to see that Candle in the Wind and Nothing Else Matters were also picked. ^^ But I think that out of all of them, These Dreams is my favorite, followed closely by Estranged. I forgot to enter this one because I was sick and due to IRL stuff. Same thing for this installment, but I'm gonna go submit right now. XD I sort of wish that there could always be a reminder a day or two before MMM ends. ^^; Anyway, if I'd had remembered to enter this one, I d have submitted Def Leppard's "Hysteria", as that's my song with my significant other, and it'll probably be played at our wedding. =D As usual, great picks you guys! It's always fun to be reminded of awesome songs that exist, and to be introduced to new ones. <3 Sorry my comment wasn't as interesting as it usually is, I picked up a nasty cold from my cousin's girlfriend @_@; |

| I was thinking the same thing Kami, I've never really been into ballads too much, preferring peppier more upbeat songs that I can jam along too, but apparently I like more of them than I thought! I love Piano Man, Hold On, These Dreams, Nothing Else Matters and Candle In The Wind. Even though I do love GNR, my second pick was November Rain, I wasn't too fond of Estranged. After listening to a few of the others and seeing some of the suggestions for other music on Youtube, I saw alot of song titles that I like, but never really associated them with the word ballad before! XD |
